IRCOM Ambassadors

On November 25th, 2009 the IRCOM Ambassadors officially launched themselves into the public eye with a well attended storytelling extravaganza at the Winnipeg Contemporary Dancers’ Studio. The audience of close to 140 was wowed by the stories of the IRCOM Ambassadors; Bashir Mohamed, Faiza Hargaaya, Mavis Matenge, Noma Sibanda, Pauline Tennent, Sane Dube, Shorsh Palani, Sukhwinder Gill, and William Vivas.

Musical guests Flo, Noma Sibanda and Darryl Reilly of the SubCity Dwellers captivated the audience with their beautiful sounds. Food was provided by Baraka Pita Bakery and Steve’s Bistro.
