Aiman Syed was born in Welland, ON though her family moved to Brockville, ON shortly thereafter. Growing up alongside the St. Lawrence River was an amazing experience. She completed her last two years of highschool in Scarborough and her Honours B.A. and her T.E.S.O.L. at the University of Toronto. She is due to complete her M. Ed in Adult and Post-Secondary Education at the University of Manitoba shortly.
Aiman continues to enjoy her time in Winnipeg (the odd and never straight streets of the city notwithstanding), though you will hear her gripe about the lack of halal restaurants from time to time.
Aiman is a Foundations Instructor for the NLI program as well as the Coordinator for ICCP. She began at IRCOM as a volunteer in the language partners program and in Jen’s NLI class and immediately realized IRCOM was a place she wanted to be!
