Carolina Rebudal migrated to Winnipeg with her family in July 2010. She worked at the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine under the Department of Health as Administrative Officer in the Philippines. Working as a public servant in the health sector gave her a sense of fulfillment as she provided services to the less privileged. After 3 years working in survival jobs, she’s now happy working as the Office Administrator-Bookkeeper at IRCOM. Her present work gives her the opportunity to go back to administrative work by providing administrative support to different programs of IRCOM. She knows how it feels to be a newcomer in Canada as well as the challenges of being an immigrant with no family around, hence she feels happy to be of service to newcomers who come to IRCOM.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration majoring in Accounting from Lyceum of the Philippines and with a Masters in Management from Philippines Christian University. She took Payroll and Taxable Benefits and Recruitment Selection courses through Red River College in 2011. Her dream is to see her children finish their education and have stable jobs after college.
