Erin Anderson is the Director of Programming at the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization of Manitoba. Erin holds a BA in Conflict Resolution Studies and International Development Studies from the University of Winnipeg where she earned a University gold medal for her efforts. She is also certified as a Transformative Writing facilitator through Heartspace Writing School – one of her favourite ‘hats’ to wear.
Erin has worked with IRCOM for over 6 years as a Volunteer Manager, Communications Coordinator and Executive Advisor. She is very proud of her work developing the current volunteer program at IRCOM. She currently serves on the board of the West Cental Women’s Resource Centre and as an advisor to F.L.O.W.E.R., a small grassroots NGO based in Ghana that aims to create opportunities for young women to realize their full potential and feel empowered to make decisions about their future.
In her spare time, Erin is an avid reader and writer, who also enjoys swimming, travelling, and playing superheroes with her son and husband.
