Manny Revidad

Manny Revidad is the House Manager of the Immigrant and Refugee Community Organization of Manitoba.

Manny immigrated to Canada from the Philippines in 2001 with his daughter.  He first settled in Fort McMurray, Alberta with his eldest sister and then, in December 2006 moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba, where he married his wife Dalia Apostol. They now have 2 sons and a daughter.

Manny has a BS in Nursing from Far Eastern University. However, his brother-in-law in Canada, who was a Red Seal Journeyman, encouraged him to take trades vocational courses to improve his chances of getting a job when he arrived in Canada.  In preparation for his arrival in Canada, Manny undertook and completed a diploma in welding and fabrication from TESDA (Philippines). Since his arrival in Canada, Manny has worked as a Sheet Metal Mechanic, a Chief Maintenance Supervisor and a nurse with Edmonton General Hospital. Manny’s primary passion in life is with trades and he eventually upgraded his education at NAIT in Edmonton. He began working with IRCOM in 2006 and was promoted to House Manager in 2008.
