Marko Gjuric

122Marko was born in Skopje, Macedonia and moved to Winnipeg with his parents in the spring of 1992. He graduated from Fort Richmond Collegiate and then completed his Bachelor’s degree with a major in Social Development and a minor in Child and Adolescent Development from the faculty of Human Ecology. Marko first came to IRCOM in the fall of 2011 for his undergraduate practicum placement in the NLI and Homework programs. Following his practicum, Marko continued to volunteer in the homework and youth programs and eventually got hired. Marko has held many positions at IRCOM including: Program Support Worker, Education Support Worker and Assistant Manager. Marko recently completed his Master’s degree at the University of Manitoba in Community Health Sciences.  He had helped develop the Youth Employment Program and Leadership Programs at IRCOM and has now been working as one of the Managers of the After School Program since 2014.
