Thomas Gerezghier is a youth support worker in the IRCOM after school program. Thomas is known as Mr. International because of his multilingual skills. Give him a month and he will be able to communicate with you in your language. Prior to working at IRCOM Thomas worked at NEEDS Centre as an assistant program facilitator.
Thomas graduated as a certified level one automotive technician from Red River College and attended CMU for the first year of chiropractic studies, which he hopes to pursue more in the future.
Thomas is a track and field runner who had a chance to train with the Great Zersenay Tadese from Eritrea. While working at IRCOM Thomas started a track and field club for youth to keep them active and to prepare for September’s cross-country season. He is currently preparing himself for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil.
